Education

From primary schools to universities and post graduate facilities, PCPT have had a detailed involvement in education. We believe that improved educational facilities are vital to contributing to the social and economic regeneration of our communities. Our designs have helped support Universities and Schools to raise standards of achievement for all learners through innovative, stimulating and adaptable design solutions.

We have worked extensively in deprived areas and across multi-faith communities in all aspects of Education renewal and transformation providing a full spectrum of complimentary skills. Many of these projects have been the extension and remodeling of existing facilities through to major new builds.

For Sandwell MBC, PCPT have carried out projects ranging from adapting existing buildings to provide access for the severely handicapped, general upgrading to new class facilities, major extensions and rebuilding of 1950’s steel framed teaching blocks.

Projects involving the provision of new 40 place specialist nursery units have also been carried out.
Specialist facilities include a Training Centre for the Visually Handicapped where training and assessment facilities are provided in an environment designed to teach “every day skills” to suit varying degrees of disabilities.
