Based in the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham, we specialise in providing sustainable design solutions, with architects trained as BREEAM assessors and accredited as AABC conservation architects.

We are experienced at successfully evaluating, planning and developing complex projects included derelict and contaminated sites across the Midlands for projects up to £60 million capital value.

Our inner city regeneration solutions address the challenges of Conservation and Renewal with environmentally sustainable and commercially viable development solutions that achieve low capital and running costs.

With a 50 year heritage PCPT’s depth of experience in all aspects of the property cycle, enables us to deliver mature and innovative service solutions for asset, property, and facilities management.

We are a design led practice providing our clients with exceptional design knowledge, experience and confidence to successfully handle large, small and complex projects. Our designers combine their in-depth knowledge of local environment and heritage with international experience to create unique, client focused and innovative architecture.

Resources and Management Structure

The PCPT management approach is one of teamwork providing a first-class client orientated service.  Each project is managed by a director/associate and it is recognised that his on-going involvement in the project is always beneficial in establishing and maintaining targets and design quality and that value decision making is exercised from start to finish.

Technical Facilities:

Using the latest equipment and software to meet the requirements of individual projects, PCPT are equiped with a PC network combined with printing and copying facilities to enable fast and accurate representations of client needs.

Workstations are equipped with AutoCAD, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office suites.

Visualisation and presentation facilities for clients based in SketchUp, 3D Max and Photoshop.

Quality Assurance:

Operating a Quality Management System based on ISO 9001 since December 1990.

Quality Management System is related to the design and implementation of building projects.  PCPT exercise reasonable care and skill in every aspect of its service through the implementation of its Quality Management System which involves the use of systematic, planned and cost effective procedures that determine, assess and achieve quality and value in accordance with the agreed requirements of the Client.

Office Policy:

We are committed to the systematic maintenance, improvement and broadening of knowledge and skill and the development of personal qualities necessary for the discharge of technical and professional duties in accordance with RIBA Continuing Professional Development (CPD) practices.

Safety Policy, supported by a Safety Manual, and written policies on Equal Opportunities, Health & Safety and an Environmental Policy; copies of all are available upon request.

The office Handbook that describes the company’s approach, it’s rules and policy and expectation of staff as well as outlining procedures to be followed. Staff and Directors are members of appropriate professional institutions as well as bodies such as the Royal Society of Arts.  The Company stresses the benefits of staff being involved in Pro Help, Business in the Community initiatives on behalf of the Company.
